Help & Support

We have two types of limits for Rebit international money transfers:

Order Limit
Based on your transfer route, the sending amount should be between minimum and maximum limits.
If your sending amount is not in that range, an error is shown like ‘Sending amount should be between 100 and 10,000 NZD.’ This means your order for the selected 'You Send' currency (ie. from NZD in this example) should be more than $100 and less than $10,000.
This range is related to several factors including banking limitations in your paying country and cannot be modified for each user separately. Please note you may be able to submit multiple orders as long as your monthly limit allows you.

Monthly Limit
There is a monthly cap defined for every route. Check your Account page to find your monthly limits. This limit resets on the 1st of every calendar month. If you wish to increase your monthly limit, you need to verify your source of funds/wealth.

This means each order for the selected currencies can't be less than $X or more than $Y.
You may be able to submit multiple orders to utilise your monthly allowance fully. Alternatively, chat with us and we may be able to submit an order from back-office for you.

Read more about limits in this article.

If you have reached your monthly transfer limit, and you wish to increase it, you need to verify your source of funds/wealth. That is for the currency you're paying in.
Please send all supporting documents by email to kyc@rebit.co.nz and explain your nature and purpose for the transfer.

To download a Proof of Income from Inland Revenue (IRD) website demonstrating your source of funds, please follow these steps:
  1. Log in to myIR.
  2. Click here to view a step-by-step guide to Request a summary of income.
  3. Go to Print Proof of Income and select Last income tax year as shown below.

  4. Go to Rebit app and send the download PDF file via Account > Verification > Additional Documents or Increase Limit message box when exceeding your limits.

Depending on your source of funds (or source of wealth) in New Zealand, you can provide the following documents as proof. We will then assess your documents and increase your limits for sending money with Rebit. Please send all supporting documents by email to kyc@rebit.co.nz and explain your nature and purpose for the transfer.
