Rebit’s story began during the COVID-19 pandemic when many migrants in New Zealand faced the urgent need to send financial aid to their families back home. It was at this time that Mahtab and Alireza, having recently been introduced to cryptocurrencies through Saeed, were suddenly flooded with requests from friends and members of the migrant community. They saw the opportunity to solve a real problem for people who, like themselves, struggled with limited financial services. From those early days, Rebit has faced numerous challenges, from building the platform to overcoming regulatory hurdles and navigating banking restrictions. Despite the obstacles, our mission has remained clear: To provide migrants with reliable, transparent, and accessible financial services, empowering them to Rebit their money no matter the distance.

Saeed Khaleghi
Saeed, who has been with us since the early days and helped build the Rebit application, is a curious and hardworking individual who never stops learning. With over twenty years of collaboration with Ali, Saeed excels in complex mathematical tasks. He prioritises quality in his work and software development. Saeed lives and breathes coding. Whenever he takes a break from learning new things, you find him playing backgammon. At Rebit, Saeed leads the technical team.

Amin, our dedicated senior data analyst and BI developer, works with the company’s data, including financial business data, progress trends like KPIs, customer sales data, and more.
